Aerocom Specialty Fittings offers a variety of in-house “Value Added” services including laser engraving, pressure testing, passivation and oxygen cleaning. We would be happy to discuss with you how we can customize our services to meet your requirements.
Aerocom’s trained technicians will provide the services listed below with a quick turn-around and high-quality service.
We can provide cleaning of parts or assemblies for oxygen service. Our cleaning process, which complies with CGA G-4.1, can be used for parts that are intended for oxygen service or other gas services where oxygen is a component of the gas. This type of cleaning is required to remove any contaminants (liquid and solid, organic and inorganic) from the components. We can tailor the cleaning to meet your application requirements.
Passivation removes any manufacturing and assembly contaminants as well as any free iron from the surface of stainless steel parts. We provide a citric acid passivation which complies with ASTM A967 and ASTM A380. We can also provide post passivation results of a copper sulfate test.
We offer in-house custom laser engraving services to our clients with exceptionally quick turnaround. Our experienced laser engraving staff is able to permanently etch metals with a high contrast, high resolution mark that is extremely resistant to chemicals, cleaners solvent and salt water spray.
Driven by the dual needs of identifying the origins and histories of items during their service lives and of improving inventory management and control, permanent component identification and tracking has been achieving an ever higher profile and nowhere has this phenomenon been more apparent than in the safety-critical applications for the aerospace, defense and healthcare industries.
We provide pressure testing of hose assemblies, fittings or other fluid connectors upon request. Our testing staff will follow all customer requirements including providing detailed test reports of the results. We can perform tests up to 50 000psi, whether it be hydrostatic tests to verify for leaks or perform burst tests to verify designs of the assemblies.
